Ms. Bancroft is a professionally trained opera singer, has studied journalism and is a graduate of L'Institut de Ribaupierre in Lausanne, Switzerland. In connection with the Company's acquisition of Dow Jones & Company, Inc, Ms. Bancroft was appointed as a Director pursuant to the terms of an agreement whereby the Company agreed to elect a member of the Bancroft family or another mutually agreed upon individual to the Board. Ms. Bancroft has a culturally diverse background, having lived across Europe. She also speaks several languages fluently.
